Easy to sew. great fit

I just finished making this vest. This is the 3rd time I've made it and it's beautiful. I used a velvet burn-out knit fabric to give a more dressed-up feel. The pattern is easy to sew, and the fit is true-to size. For this version, I lengthened the pattern, so that it would be more appropriate for evening wear. I would highly recommend this pattern to anyone who wants a simple, elegant accessory.

Well crafted plus great value

This particular Vogue Couturier Designer pattern is one that I've been wanting to make. When I saw this one at such a great price, I decided to buy it. It did not disappoint! As with most of these vintage Vogue patterns that I've made, it was a challenge. The pieces fit together well, although, the instructions may be a bit hard to decipher for the novice sewer. The end product was superb, and the dress was a success! I would recommend this pattern to any intermediate to advanced sewer who is looking for a timeless late '60's designer dress.
