Great piece of kit that saves dragging a...

Great piece of kit that saves dragging a cable around. Use these alongside the equivalent guitar bugs and they work well together. Charging time is reasonable and the ability to charge from the case is a bonus.

Best Value Les Paul in the range

Having owned an LP standard about 10 years ago and sold it, I decided to buy a new one. Originally I was looking at buying a Studio but opted to buy this instead and I’m so glad I did. This guitar is fairly heavy but much better balanced than my old standard thanks to the weight relief. The neck and playing feel is great and the 4 push pull pots give a much better tonal range than the standard LP. For a few hundred pounds more than the studio you get better pickups, a greater tone range, build quality to match the Standard with full binding and a hard case rather than the gig bag that comes with the studio. To my mind if you are looking at the studio and can push the budget a bit you should go for the classic. If you are looking at the Standard then you could save yourself a few hundred quid and buy a much more versatile guitar so check out the Classic.

Bought for an Eastman archtop to give a warmer tone than the nanoweb 12s I had on it. Definitely a different feel and the warmer tone is evident.
