Only works as good as your install skills allow
Ok so here is the thing your thinking about this. Yet you see the reviews and your like hmm do I get it? So the thing is many of the install videos are not that great.
What you can do in order to get a better fit, is shave down the 3 sides of the outer edges. Now this takes skill or the right tool. I used a belt sander. This works like a charm and took 1/16 inch off and it worked better then what was sent to me. So if your looking for plug and play. This wont always work. If you modify it slightly to fit your vehicle. Then it will work great.

Best adhesive remover!
I use this adhesive remover every day. It far better then all the others on the market I have used. Better then 3m, goof off, krud and many more. Better then using a rubber sticker wheel for the drill. Won't leave any damage. Leave on for a while come back and surface is like normal without the stick sticker yuck. Won't work on the top of tape but one take is removed, it will get rid of the sticky residue. I give this product AAA+++

Not aluminum but worth the money
So I got one and its not a blend mount made from aluminum. But for what it is it works pretty good. I got this for my wife's subaru with eyesight. As they say you can't put anything on the windshield. So I got this mount and it does pretty good. I recommend using the rubber on the camera and the mirror to keep them from moving around. Unless you have a vehicle that sees offroad or large bumps regularly this should work more than sufficient.
