It works!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich In a nutshell, this cable does what it suppose to do. RS-232 ports were replaced with USB ports. If you have vintage equipment needing an RS-232 port, then this cable will do the trick. It allow your updated computer to communicate with RS-232 ports/equipment. Window 10 will recognize the connection however with most equipment you might need Win 10 drivers to run under current Operating System. Cheers

A quick 'get me started' book
This small booklet lives up to its title but...I don't believe you can learn them all in 60 minutes. All of them sound real good and if you do learn them, you will have plenty of ideas for creating great rhythms. The author touches on all style, includes fingerpicking: something all guitar players should learn right from the start. You will need that skill.
I don't believe this book is for beginners but instead, for players who have been playing for a few months. The examples aren't that hard to master but without theory, beginners might have a difficult time with applying these examples. On a side note, if you are looking for a great rhythm book for all players, then type in to ebay's search field, 101 rock rhythm patterns by Larry Mccabe or just Larry McCabe to see all books; they will really get you rocking right from the start plus they become wonderful reference books when you need new ideas for song writing.
Anywho, as for this book, it will provide you with ideas too and increase your technical skills. Plus, these aren't exercises but good sounding rhythm parts that can be assembled in many different ways that will get you started with playing rhythm with a band, or accompanying a singer or yourself, or just jamming.
O'yeah, all the examples are in TAB and music notation...

An One on One interview with Dave Navarro
Dave talk in depth about his style as if he was sitting with you. Additional he gives example of his creative process. This isn't a venue where a great player just show off his skills. Instead Dave explains fully what he was thinking with he creates his riffs. He breaks down his riffs, rhythms and solos from RHC song lists but does not play the entire songs. He just want to express his style and how to incorporate some ideas to your songs. Al though this session lacks in depth music theory, it does give lots of 'how to' informations. All examples are written in TAB in the included booklet.
