Trauma and Survival

Decent, with a good atmosphere, and a story that will keep you guessing. This is another from the director of the infamous Martyrs, though in English, and far more accessible, while dealing with similar themes. Recommended.

Enjoyable!

Plenty of room for experimenting with sounds. Doesn't require software or a powerful laptop to enjoy, just works straight out of the box. Will hopefully use it to make some songs but for now just enjoying it as a cool gadget. Small, lightweight, and runs on household batteries. Win.

For fans of Suspiria?

Wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie, and am still fairly sure I just dreamt this! Firstly, French audio only, no dub. Secondly, this is a very visually impressive and symbolic movie, which viewers of more straightforward horror may find off putting. But if you like the nightmare works of bloody masters such as Dario Argento, this may be just the film for you. A nice find, and something different to the tropes of most western horrors being released nowadays.
