"Raymond Chandler wouldn't have blessed these"

For students of Raymond Chandler's works and film variations of these two titles, there are some interesting performances and worth the look. However, Robert Mitchum, even with his great world weary chops, unfortunately, is 20 years too late in filming these roles.
