Excellent Saw

Little touches are great. Eg: it is exactly 10cm from the edge of the plate to the blade. So much easier to place a guide than my previous saw which was not a round number.
The blade has fewer teeth than I would have liked but it seems to cut really well and the kerf is flat bottomed which makes cutting tenons (with a jig) much easier.
The box is great though the plastic insert is flimsy (mine had cracked in transit). I filled the underside of the insert with expanding foam to create a more robust housing.

Works but can fall off
The battery is a great improvement on my failing 10 year old original batteries.
The problem I have had is that the clips don't hold the battery on as securely as the original battery.
A few times i have had the battery fall off, once onto a concrete floor after which it rattled.
Opening the battery up, a metal spring was loose in the bottom. The potential for shorting something out was obvious.
Replacing the spring, all is back as it was (but still not as secure as original). I now add some thick elastic bands around the drill & battery to keep it securely attached.
