Interesting story about the homefront during WWII.

I purchased this book because it was recommended to me by a friend. I liked the way the story was told through the correspondence between women whose husbands were serving in the military during WWII. It was interesting to learn how they coped during the years when so many everyday necessities were limited by rationing. I especially enjoyed the recipes the women exchanged. I have yet to try the "Tomato Soup Cake" recipe, but I have purchased the canned soup, and I think I will be pleasantly surprised at the taste of this unique cake.

Gentle but powerful.

I have been using Fulsol Degreaser for over 53 years. Before other laundry products came on the market to remove stains, I used Fulsol to pretreat grease stains on my mechanic husband's clothes. Besides using It for laundry, I use it for many other household cleaning chores. It is a lot more expensive than it was in the 1960's, but I could not operate my household without it.
