Few positives with this package
15 von 21 finden das hilfreich This camera has two really good features-those are the video quality and the sensitivity of the GPS receiver. Other than that, I can't find much to like. The power cord is only about 6 feet long. It cannot be dressed around the window corners in order to hide it because it is so short. It has to drop straight down across the windshield to the lighter socket in most vehicles. I'm 62 and my eyesight is ok, not great. Because of the small display, I cannot make out the wording on the screen if I need to check the settings or even see what is on the screen. The monitor view is far too small to call it anything other than a thumbnail. If you don't find these issues to be a problem, this camera then becomes a good value.

DIY wasn't what I ordered.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich When I turned on my hf rig and switched antennas, there wasn't even a pop in the receiver speaker for either antenna on 75 meters. I took it apart and NEITHER one of the input wires was soldered to the SO239. One was hanging free at the center pin of the SO239. The ground hadn't been soldered to the wafer switch either. In my opinion, the wafer switch having 1Kw relayed through it is a fantasy given the small size of it. It seems to work ok now after the repair. The price is right if you aren't going to run high power and can use a soldering iron-just in case it isn't completely assembled when you get it.

What a mess.
The batteries did absolutely nothing when plugged into the Metabo charger. I did some non-invasive measurements of the original batteries. I also removed the cover of one of the "Vanon" knockoffs and observed the connections. (After getting told to not worry about returning them, of course.) Internally the thermistor (to send the battery temperature to the charger) and the fuse were swapped from how the Metabos must have been wired. I swapped the wires and the battery charged as normal. It is hard to comprehend that the "Vanon" factory apparently didn't check this knockoff design in a Metabo charger, much less these particular batteries.
