Old dell charger most likely last longer. .. ...
If you need to replace an old dell charger; go for the highest wattage you can find!
That way it does not have to work so hard and would most likely last longer. .. ..

I was going to return this!
I was going to return this!, BUT then I checked it with a voltage pen and it had power all the way to the switch! So poked the fan blades with some old wire; just to move them but still nothing! I even 'roughly' moved to switch forwards & backwards, and still nothing. Then I bounced it on it's stand and it slowly started & more bouncing & rough switching AND now it works fine . .. ...
