Great quality, strong, low price
Great fishing pliers, especially if you target larger species with tough jaws. These won’t bend out of alignment like high-dollar aluminum pliers often do when twisting large hooks out of the mouths of big fish.

It's an OEM part and just what your Mercury came with (if applicable).
Good part. Order the plastic bushing for the shift rod end at the same time since it's likely to be worn and it's really inexpensive.
If yours shift linkage is broken (as mine was), you may have an issue with rust/corrosion on the shift shaft where it passes through another nylon bushing. Use a penetrating oil like PB Blaster and soak it good. Free it up before you put the new linkage on there or you might just break it again.

Great for big hooks in large fish
Great fishing pliers, especially if you target larger species with tough jaws. These won’t bend out of alignment like high-dollar aluminum pliers often do when twisting large hooks out of the mouths of big fish.
