Nellie Connally tells the story of President John F. Kennedy's visit to Texas, from the anticipation and excitement to the horror and sadness felt as the young President was taken by an assassin's bullet. Her heartfelt description of being by her husband's side as he too was wounded, and then following his recovery was from a viewpoint not found elsewhere. A great read for anyone who has interest in an inside look at one of America's greatest tragedies.
