A man ahead of his time
I,ve always been fascinated about Lord Leverhulme,having lived in Lewis from 1957-71,even then his legacy was much-remembered by the older generation who remembered him.

The Beecham magic
Sir Thomas was very particular which of his recordings and 78 takes should be released on discs before 1952 and continue to take care in his twilight recording days through the 1950's.
A glorious era and he was without doubt Britain's greatest conductor.
His legacy is well-represented on disc and on this cd.
