Tuning Head Upgrade
These tuner heads are a good quality product with a fair price and look great. If fitting them to replace vintage tuning heads the holes will require opening to slightly under 10mm for a snug fit, best done by hand as the enamel can easily chip off, chamfer through the enamel and enlarge using a small step drill from each side then remove the middle portion with a straight drill. The old fixing holes will show and there is an extra weight/balance penalty to consider, Les Pauls are rather heavy already so if your finding it tiring to hold when playing these are going to make things worse.
