1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I've had my Canon A70 for about five years and it's a workhorse. Great quality photos, easy to use, and always ready for action. I've noticed a lot of auctions for as-is A70s, though, that mention the screen suddenly going black and nothing else working. When that happened to mine around the time I'd had it three years, I searched the internet and wound up at the Canon official site. Turns out there's a defective part Canon will replace at no cost, which returns the camera to perfect working order! They'll even send you a UPS pickup sticker so you don't have to pay shipping. Just thought people might want to know, since my camera was back within 10 days and works just like it did the day I brought it home from the store.

The ultimate harness for dog comfort and human control.
I've been using the Freedom harnesses since the company was known as Wiggles, Wags and Whiskers, which was a long time ago. I bought the first one from a revered dog trainer who demonstrated that advantage of having a leash hook on both the front and back of the harness. That dog wore the harness on every walk and car ride for the next decade and her successor used that harness until he outgrew it and required a larger one. I was concerned the quality may have declined over the years, but the new harness is just as sturdy and easy to fit as the old one. It's a beautiful color, too, so it looks nice with my guy's fancy collar.
With my old dog, who was gentle and obedient by nature, I usually attached the leash to the back of the harness. That dog wasn't huge or inclined to pull, so that worked perfectly. My new dog is fifteen pounds heavier, though, and a squirrel-chasing powerhouse. I find the front hook enables me to redirect him before he's off and running, with me dragging behind. I'm also able to connect the leash to both the front of the harness and the loop on the dog's martingale collar, so his custody is doubly secure. The design is truly spectacular.

Lightweight and comfortable right out of the box.
I'm old enough to remember when hiking boots had a substantial break-in period. You'd go for a long trek in the woods and have to carry a pair of running shoes in your backpack so you could switch to them when the new-boot blisters made it impossible to continue. These Columbia boots are soooooooo comfortable right out of the box. The leather is dense, but soft, and the padding is ample, yet weighs next to nothing. I haven't tested them in water yet, but the feel of the leather is exactly like that of the old Merrells these boots replaced. The speed hooks at the top make them easy to adjust, as well. They don't feel bulky on my feet and the soles are quite grippy even on damp rocks. It's a bonus that they look great. I very much prefer the steely gray color to the array of browns sold at most outdoor stores.
