DIY Kit Solid State 83 Regulated Replacement Rectifier TV-7 Hickok Tube Testers

Works well in a B&K 707.

This is a good quality unit and functions as advertised. The only thing I would add is if you add this to a b&k 700 or 707 you should do a calibration on the tube tester. These diodes are a little bit more efficient and this will throw the calibration off. The calibration procedure is not difficult and you will know that your tube tester is reading correctly. Highly recommended. The build instructions are clear and concise.

This is a well-made useful product for dx hunters.

The mfj DX clock is quite useful to find out when and where the DX beacons are broadcasting. It's solidly constructed and reasonably sensitive. It will require an outside antenna so take that into consideration before purchasing. Mfj currently sells this product for $119.95 and at that price it is a worthwhile purchase. If you can get it for less than that you'll have quite a bargain.

You get you pay for and more.

Unit is nicely built and works well. Purchased mine with the Capsaver add-on. Easy to install and went smoothly. Came with a set of Panasonic alkaline batteries! Bravo for the vendor not sending Duracell batteries! Unit came with high quality Probe Master test probes better than the ones in the picture!! You will pay more for the Capacitor Wizard but it is a quality unit and spare parts are available if you need them. The manual is simple but sufficient. Made in the USA too.
