I purchased this door bell because I already had the same one before and found
that I like the tunes that it plays. I had my siding replaced but when they pulled the door bell button off, they lost it. when I replaced it the bell was not playing the tune but rather only one note. I read the owners manual and found out why.
I could not find the other diode so I just purchased a new door bell.
Door bells that play tunes are a thing of the past. Everyone is buying door bell buttons that allow the home owner to see and talk to the person at the door on their smart phone. Sorry, that's not me.
