Great Performace
Unit consists of two main parts. The metal fitting containing the power supply and the plastic light unit containing the LEDs. The two parts are easily separated then the metal fitting is screwed in place and wired up - with easy push fit connector and the light unit then plugs in and clips in place.
The light has two rows of cool white LEDs underneath a diffuser. The light comes on immediately and gives a very even and bright light.
How durable it will prove to be is unknown. The plastic part of light fitting does not very strong so accidental impact with ladders, for example, would probably break it. The power supply looks like a small Switch-mode device from china with an unknown brand - reliability is anyone's guess. The fluorescent fitting I was replacing had lasted 45 years so it has a lot to live up to.

Genuine part and seems an improvement on original fitment.
I was initially worried when I dismantled the cooker as the existing parts looked nothing like this one. After a few checks with the multimeter and examining the opening and closing of contacts it was clear they were compatible. The new part just has some additional connections. In fact this one is better quality than the original. The old one failed due to the plastic shaft cracking but this one has a metal shaft.Just had to swap connectors like for like and cooker working again.

Nice and basic
Simple display just in/out temperature which is just what I wanted. Placed outdoor sensor about 10m from display and no problems with reception.
Logo on indoor and outdoor devices is not straight which suggests maybe quality control is not as good as is should be.
