it's better than resin in several ways: more durable and breathable, and faster to put on and take off. even the longer drying time can be minimized by squeezing it out a few times inside a towel.

-hard to boot into Linux: no apparent way to set USB as default boot option, requiring manually navigating to it each time;
-doesn't run older versions of Linux, as the legacy booting needed for this is not available on newer Chromebooks
