Wonderful book, defective disc.
We were enjoying the book until we discovered Disc 5 which proved to be defective. We went ahead and listened to the remaining discs but it ruined our experience. There is no way this can be expected and there is no way to rectify the problem when on the road. Books on tape or discs are a wonderful way of passing the time during a long road trip and I highly recommend this practice to all. Even though the tape was marked "new" I suspect that it wasn't. In the ratings above, I certainly recommend the book to all. I guess it is important as to whom you are buying it from. It pays not to look for a bargain. We enjoyed our return trip with another book by Mr. Franken, King of the Senate, which I would recommend to every American as a must read.
