If one can purchase this edition for $20.00 or less, it's a must, enjoy!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I had read a number of good to great reviews of Doreen Ehrlichs'book, Frank Lloyd Wright Glass and wanted a hardcover version when it became affordable. After finally obtaining said edition I was truly impressed by both the quality of the photographs as well as the accuracy overall of information contained about the specific glass designs mentioned. I still believe that Julie Sloans 'Light Screens' book is the definitive version on the subject, but this has to be just behind it. If a person finds these designs of Frank Lloyd Wright interesting and explained as well as Doreen has done in her book, than perhaps they will dig even deeper into the genius that is Frank Lloyd Wright in general. This book will do that for the average reader to say the least. I have been reading much about Frank and his work for the past three years and I still seek more!

Downton Abbey Is British Television (and Masterpiece Theater) At It's Best!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich While this writing is for the boxset seasons 1 - 5 these words are meant for the entire series as well as the last two other disks The Manners Of Downton Abbey and The Secrets Of Highclere Castle, which I have found to be perfect for viewing together. Aside from the excellent performances and brilliant writing that each and every episode from the series brought forth, these disks contain just the 'Special Features' that aired along with the program and were generally from ten to twenty minutes in length. The Features contained just about every subject of production that a show would have in it but it too held many longer cast interviews that most people will find quite charming and refreshing that their particular favorite actor and actress may have their personal traits that they thought they might, (if that made any sense). These last two disks I believe can be found in certain other earlier boxsets but if not, get them separately as they only add to the overall enjoyment by removing 'mysteries' perhaps not fully understood, but spoken about in ways that are very easy to pick up. So Downton Abbey, over 50 hours of great viewing enjoy the DVD's one and all!

Best of the old school sound pedals.
Arion was a pedal maker 'Back In The Day' as it were. The interiors were equal to most everything made at the time (early 1980's) but the chasis were all plastic to save money. While Arion made an equal to most all pedals available, only two were really well received and purchased, the Stereo Chorus and this, The Tubulator. Akin to a 'Blues Driver' it really excels at it's job and a functional one is worth $50 to $70 dollars depending on condition. I've never heard the reconditioned versions of these but that's not this review either. I now own this and the Stereo Chorus (plus the original pedal/power supply board) and will be hanging on to them in the future. However I will be looking towards newer BOSS models to complete my 'Sound Collection'.
