Perfect fit, exact match works great.
Perfect fit, exact match works great. MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THE RIGHT LCD PANEL so you have as good results as I did.
This repair is not for the faint of heart. Keep the screws (all 5000 of them) organized as you remove them. Make sure you have a good #1 philips and #0 philips screwdrivers with good tips.

These guys ship fast, and package everything properly and professionally.
Pros: very affordable, reliable (I buy used ones from Rhino Technology all the time, and have yet to have one fail. They're pretty fast, being SAS drives that run 10,000 RPM.
Another pro: Rhino Technology gets them out the door REALLY fast, and packages them beautifully; anti-static bags for each drive, plus anti-static bubble wrap. This is how it's DONE people.
Cons: They come formatted with 520 byte sectors, which is fine for EMC SANs and IBM NetApp, but they don't work for regular 512 b/s general use. ***BUT*** it's easy to reformat them on any linux machine with sg3_utils (install that.) Then run
sg_scan -i to identify the drives by device (e.g. /dev/sg2) and then
sg_format --format -v --size=512 --fmtpinfo=0 /dev/sg2 to format for 512 byte sectors.

It's Cisco, they just work, and they're hugely flexible.
It's Cisco, what else is there to say? This one had one flaky port, but there are 47 others that are fine. Cisco is well supported in the community and there's 75 answers out there for any question you might have.
