Does it sound the same as a vintage Model D? No idea but it sounds close enough based on copying patches from the various softsynths I have and it is so much more fun to interact with.

Clearwater Tone bar for lap steel
Nicely made tone bar that fits my (quite small) hand very well. It's contouring makes it comfortable for prolonged use.
Good value and a good service too.
