Works Great, just not in my metal mailbox
OK, have to say this alarm works and at a good distance of 275 feet..HOWEVER, it will NOT work IN the mailbox itself ( metal one )....IF I stand beside it, in front of it, whatever , it works as it is suppose to..but when placed inside the box it will not work and why I do not know .
My only guess is the metal box blocks the signal somehow,
I would recommend it for plastic boxes or closer distances, as I would assume it would work...but in my case the meta box and the large distance evidently does not allow it to work
So only gave it 4 stars i do not think the quality is very good...but the price was a good value
would not send it back for refund because it actually works, just not in my case...may try and increase the antenna to see if that helps
