Supco LP6440 Washer Pump Replaces 436440

New life for the old washer
Had the 04 error on my Bosch Nexxt Washer, model WFMC3200UC/01 which indicated a problem with the drain or pump. I had many times cleaned out objects from the pump housing, such as coins, nails, and other small objects that jammed the pump impeller. This time I opened the pump and found nothing blocking the impeller, which seemed odd. Also the machine would sometimes go complete cycle without a problem. I found a service manual online and was able to do some diagnostics, and the pump seemed fine. Put it back together and one wash later the fault was back. I did notice the impeller to be a little loose from what I would expect, but not seeing the unit when new I was unsure if the impeller was intended to wobble or not. During one of my tests the pump motor failed to rotate, leading me to deduce the pump was the issue, for sure. I checked the various vendors and found this Supco pump seemed to be the latest version that fit my particular washer, and it was the best price. The new model pump has an extra hose to drain the pump before opening the cover, but I had already learned to have a wet vacuum ready and open the cover slowly while waiting for the water to drain. There is quite a bit of water, and you can use towels. I have not tried the auxiliary hose so I do not know how effective it is in reducing water spillage. Changing out the pump is not too difficult, and the manual certainly helps. The front of the washer needs to come off, and the tub gasket retainer is the most frustrating part to reinstall. Anyway, the washer is working fine now. I took the old pump apart and discovered that the motor shaft was very worn, allowing the armature to rub on the housing. Depending on how the motor stopped governed if it was able to pump next time it was called for, hence the intermittent problem I was experiencing. This pump was made in China, and the old one was made in Italy, but there seems to be no difference in the quality, and I do not know where the replacement Bosch pumps are manufactured. I am happy that I can keep my washer running...

    Samsung CLP-300 Laser Printer
I had originally read reviews of low cost color laser printers with the intent of purchasing one for use by my kids. They like to print out their artwork from paint programs, and lots of online downloads for coloring. I often saw pictures with solid color backgrounds and figured the cost for printing with an inkjet was just too high. I did not want to stop the fun, but I need to set guidelines to keep the waste to a minimum. I had read that the Xerox Phaser was suitable for printing photos, a plus, so I purchased a Xerox 6120 color laser printer, about a year ago (could be 2) for $209, from an online retailer in California. It came with full charge toner cartridges, a major plus, compared to HP. The kids use it regularly and they have not run out any colors or black, yet. However, the main problem with the printer is the warm up time and the noise (really noisy, it clunks almost like the sound of a old electric adding machine doing a total) that it makes when it is getting ready to print. I have never actually timed it but it must take about 90 seconds to print out the first page. I needed a new color laser for my office, the Minolta QMS finally gave up after 5 years and 2 black toner refills, so I bought the Samsung CLP-300. I am impressed, so far, by the quality of printing, the speed in which it prints out the first page, and by how quiet, in comparison to the Xerox and the Minolta. The price was under $150.00 delivered, and it came with Vista drivers on a disc. I printed a full page photo on regular cheap printer paper and it did not look too bad, certainly good enough for the kids to share with their friends. I am tempted to buy another for home as the printer is so fast from waking up that I might get fewer complaints on how long the Xerox takes to print, or maybe not as the time might be a deterrent for printing too many unnecessary pictures. Another thing worth mentioning is the physical size and weight. The Minolta QMS 2200 is really heavy and the Xerox is also heavy and they both take up lots of room. The Samsung is very light, by comparison, and has a smaller footprint. I cannot make any claims on how long the toner will last, but for $150.00, I do not think I will be complaining. Sorry it took a while for me to mention the Samsung CLP-300, but I thought my experiences with other printers might be helpful. One more thing, at my office we have other Samsung laser printers, and they also work well, all black and white only, one is even a duplex on the same foot print as the CLP-300.

NEW Engine Flow Meter Rubber Air Intake Boot Hose For BMW Z3 M3 328i E36 1354174

Fit and finish look very close to original part
The part arrived within a week and was packaged in a padded envelope. I had no problems installing it into the car, it fit exactly like the original, and it appears to be of high quality. Time will tell if the material is suitable for the heat of the engine compartment, but in my case I am just trying to restore a car that had been sitting for a few years, and there are may things that need to be replaced before a full evaluation of the engine condition can be made. This part sorted out a misdiagnosed MAF sensor fault code...I replace the MAF and did not notice the boot old boot was split. Replacing the old boot with this part solved the MAF code.
