Mandatory last book of an excellent series.
Mockingjay is the third book of the Hunger Games series. The first two books were were excellent page-turning adventure, though I wouldn't recommend them to the under-twelve set, at least without some parental input. Unfortunately, this eagerly awaited finale was a bit of a let-down. There was still plenty of action, maybe too much violence, and a good read. But---don't read this spoiler--the ending was a bit of a let-down.

Tuesday with Morrie
1 von 3 finden das hilfreich Every day should be with Morrie! Great insight into what should be most valued as we travel through this life. If Tuesdays with Morrie doesn't cause you to pause and evaluate how you are living, you haven't been paying attention.

Man Named Dave
2 von 5 finden das hilfreich Through Dave Pelzer's first we all "felt his pain." They were, if not thoroughly believable, at least interesting. In A Man Named Dave, the reader is gratified to find that the author has succeeded in life, despite his early trials. Unfortunately, while demonstating that religion was a big part of this success, Dave finds it necessary to preach the Word throughout the book. I was disappointed to find more preaching than story.
