It works and is holding up physically.

better than ordinary screws
Drive screw are not complicated. However, these have rubber grommets and such. I was familiar with them from Compaq computers I've owned and prefer their use in general.

excellent
Allowed me to create a 12v access point on both my motorcycle and car. Rather than the standard automotive accessory socket (cigarette lighter), which is large and not standard in the computer and electronic industry. Item worked well. seals well and seems to deal with the less than optimal environment of the bike.
