Good stabilizer, works on my handmade stratocaster, improves the tone
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Great little "suspension element" definitely adds a lot of stability to any tremolo system. Even if u go crazy bombdiving, it will return to zero position.
Two tips
1) The tension might need to be increased (with two white rollers) quite more then you might think, especially if you intend to use D-Tuna or drop D tuning.
2) Because I am using D-tuna I had to tighten the spring with two white rollers. It improves the tone a lot, and going up or down with trem system is now much more controllable and refined, however it means that you can't really get vibrato bigsby-like effect because it takes some straighten to move the trem pass zero point. Overall I did not meant that stratocaster to be used for vibe, it is Rock machine and on rock machine with floating tremolo, this stabilizer works just great.
P.S. A little tough to install and painful on your fingers if you let it slip during installation.
