Who said Raquel Welch cannot act?
She was great in this movie. This was the only movie I ever saw about the roller derby. James Caan starred in a similar movie called "Rollerball", but it was a fantasy. Some of the players for the real roller derby were beat up like Raquel, but none possessed her looks.

3 von 3 finden das hilfreich One of the best I have seen. When Harrison Ford said Adaline was incapable of change, it wasn't completely correct. Adaline's mind changed. But her body or soul did not change. After Armageddon, this will be a reality. We will reverse aging until our bodies are perfect. However, our minds or brain will never stop expanding in knowledge.

Awsome
Oh, I loved this movie so much. I have already watched it at least ten times. The Irish scenery was fabulous and the music as well. Matthew Goode was so funny and yet serious also. And what can you say about sweet Amy Adams. She is so cute. She has a cute mannerism with her hands. She used this mannerism in Enchanted as well.
