Creates a new Amp
Very impressed with the new sounds that can be created by the kit. There are some issues with the instructions however; they advise to use 3'' of the supplied wire which ends up being abit too short when connecting to a couple of spots on the main circuit board. The instructions also talk about 2 brown caps, when there is actually one green and one brown (which is actually shown correctly on the drawing). Connecting to the R1 resistor is also fairly difficult as the cut ends are not really long enough to solder to. I ended up removing the cut portion of the end of R1 and soldering it to the board itself. If you are confident in your soldering skills and are adept at basic electronics it is pretty easy to install this kit. If not, find a reputable amp repair tech to do the job for you. I am very happy with the end results.

Perfect part
Although it says it fits the ST824, check your model and serial numbers as it does fit several other models including my ST724. The part is of very high quality and fits exactly as it should. Ariens dealers wanted a considerably higher price and you could only purchase the gear with the worm gear shaft as well. My blower is back in action!
