Ploughing the underground
An excellent little various album on the Catacomb Records Label. This is a great way to check out bands you'ld otherwise probably never get to hear.
Styles vary from the Garage Rock of Suns of Thunder though the excellent groovey Doom and Space Rock of Outburst, Abdullah and sonic Lord to the more challenging styles of my personal favorites I Am Colossus, Queen Elephantine and Aluna.
If you like a bit of downtuned fun and games then check this out. The production work is very good on most of the recordings and although as you would expect from a various album, some of the bands aren't to my own personal taste I'm quite sure they're of interest to others. At least the majority of the bands have avoided the sound alike trap that's left many a Rock Giant extinct over the years.

Total waste of time and money
5 von 5 finden das hilfreich I wasn't expecting an Estwing at this price but I was looking for an axe/hatchet with a nail puller and I was hoping this would make a handy multi tool to have for stripping pallets and pulling nails etc. Well was I in for a surprise? It won't even pull a nail out.
The hole in the middle looks like it would but it's so poorly made the nails just slip out. The split claw on the end is also useless due to the fact that there's nothing to lever it against. After only a couple of uses the axe was full of notches and I'd realised how poor it actually is. It's not just the quality that's bad, I wasn't expecting it to be great, it's the design that's almost useless as a tool of any kind.
Whatever you do don't waste money on this and to call it pathetic would be a complement.
