#1 Octave pedal for making you low E, A and D strings sound like a bass.
Mind you, DOD pedals aren't my favorites, I usually stick with Boss pedals. However in this case, there is a justifiable exception. I believe this pedal by DOD qualifies as one of the best Octave pedals. Whatever it is, it just works damn well. In particular, I use it to make my guitar sound like a bass. The secret is too adjust the Octaver in a way that balances with all the tones of your guitar turned all the way down. Viola, plug into a 4-track or 8-track for example, and you can play the bass parts. I also recommend some heavier low E, A and D strings to accomplish this recording effect. Of course, nothing takes the place of a talented bassist, but if you have to compromise because you don't have a bassist available for a long period of time, then this pedal is your best bet for making your recordings. Further, don't try to play the G-string for the bass sound in recording... simply, well, in a short answer, no. Anyhow, if you would only like the regular guitar octave effect, then this pedal is well worth the investment.

4 von 4 finden das hilfreich One of the best live rock'n' roll live albums beginning to end. Yeah, engineers & producers toyed with it for clarity and awesome sound, but so what? Ace Frehleys' lead guitar playing is worth it all. All their classic Kiss songs of that time make this double CD "The hottest band in the land." I'll add "Yessongs" by Yes to be fair.
