Too bad they don't make these anymore...
These particular oil filters by purolator are made with 100% synthetic media. They don't make this particular filter in this style anymore but rest assured, purolator has a replacement, The Boss. The name is corny but the filter is top-notch, like this one, so don't hesitate to use either one. They are the best at their job.

Best filter for the money
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich Do your research on these bad boys and I promise you that you'll be VERY hard-pressed to find an oil filter as high quality as this one for the price. I've cut them open and they are made almost perfectly. Metal end caps, wire backed synthetic media that traps like 99.5% at 20+ microns and around 80% at 6 microns (if my memory serves me correctly. Silicone anti-drain back valve AND the best part is they are rated for 15k miles!!! Oh, and they flow like crazy; all of em' flow at least 10 GPM (including this little guy) at like 4 PDSI. I'll admit, the other Frams aren't that special but this one is in a league of its own. Check out Bobistheoilguy to see one cut open for yourself. Last filter I'll ever use. These things are awesome. Get one...or 6!!!
