Sweaty Moralizing in the Far East.
Very atmospheric, a very Asian feel to the film. The star is Linda Hunt, although both Gibson & Weaver put up excellent performances. Indonesian political upheaval, the attempts of Europeans and Americans to carry on as if everything is lovely, and one conflicted Aussie reporter - it all makes for a very engaging story.
