Consistent Metcalf Quality
As ever with Metcalf, excellent detail, easy instructions and quality finish.

Functional easy track ballasting.
Not seen or tried this before, but after initial scepticism found it adequate for my needs. Think of it more as a ballast rather than an underlay as the granule surface is bedded to only a thin paper based substrate, so for quieter smooth running it still needs a cork underlay. I do not like doing loose ballasting (especially to points) so this, whilst not as good, is quicker and easier and gives a reasonable result for the average hobby layout. Cutting it soon blunts the knife blades, though.

Good selection of tracks including some difficult to find gap fillers.
