Don't work

This alternator does not put out enough volts for the Optimax to properly function. Took it in to the shop when it broke down on a fishing trip to Canada. The money I saved on the alternator was spent at the Marina to tell me this after market alternator wouldn't work on my Optimax. Was told only the Mercury OEM alternator would put out enough volts. Expensive mistake.
