Description of item
In the absence of any reference that this was a clip-on tie, I assumed it was a normal item that required tying (which is what I was after). Silly me!
That said, it was entirely suitable for my purposes but feel it should be made clear in the description that this is a clip-on tie.

Of no use
I placed the item on my bird table and all birds great and small resolutely ignore it. I believe it's because it's so unnatural and the birds are rightly very cautious. They prefer an open dish with fresh water. Made well enough but completely useless.

Peanut nibs
For some unknown reason the birds do not bother with this product, whether in nut feeders or loose on a tray. Feeders filled weeks ago have been untouched and they were cleaned thoroughly before filling.
