A great camera
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Several things led me to buy this camera and I have no regrets after 5-6 weeks of ownership. I have an old Minolta Maxxum film camera that I had bought with several additional AF lenses, a remote shutter control, and a wireless capable flash. A major factor was the ability to put these to good use. My Sony outfit came with the 18-70 mm AF lens which is a nice all around lens.
Also, my previous digital camera used compact flash media, so I could continue to recycle those as well. However I did get a 1 gig CF card too.
I really like the settings for sunsets and night shots along with the more common portrait, macro, sports, and landscape modes.
Battery life, in my opinion, is excellent.
The image stabilization system is in the camera body, so you get that benefit regardless what lens you use, unlike others.
It also had a gizmo that shakes dust off the CCD!
The flash is manually popped up when needed and its higher position is said to reduce red-eye.
Some may find the manual a little lacking. I bought an E-book on line which I found helpful. There are a number of user groups on line that are valuable assets too.
All said, I'm quite happy with the product and glad that I can use several hundred dollars worth of accessories that I already owned.
Oh yeah, it also takes great pictures!

Great all-round sunglasses.
I am very happy with the fit and finish as well as the lens performance. I have used Serengetis for 20-30 years and these do not disappoint. Just what is needed here in the "Sunshine State", Florida.

Only good for cleaning fingernails
1 von 3 finden das hilfreich The knife I received was not at all sharp. After much trying to put an edge on it without success I informed Anytime Tools.
Anytime replied to my complaint as follows:
