Replacing an Existing Unit
The control works well and is easy to install. The only problem that I have with the unit was from my own negligence. I forgot to remove the four AA batteries from the receiver when the heating season ended. They corroded inside the unit and, even after cleaning it up, it no longer worked. It is just a shame that you couldn't purchase the receiver separately from the transmitter/thermostat. It was a rather pricey mistake.
