My Daughter's New Best Friend (*While Fad Lasts)
Our 5 year old daughter was absolutely thrilled with it, and not just because she believes it to be a gift from the fairy that lives in her skirting board, it's generally amusing and extremely cute. The two of them have become great friends. The 'no' to durable' only refers to a couple of technical issues; 1) the connectivity was a bit difficult to establish in the first place, though does seem to hold once you get it there, and 2) within 3 days of having the Furby, it had already failed to 'wake up' on one occasion, so it was off with the battery plate and hunt down the reset button (which is tiny, make sure you have your best reading glasses around). So long as you buy this with the expectation of a little support from grown-ups, I can't see you regretting the spend, we certainly don't.

These are virtually the industry standard for DVD's, but are also ideal for special collections; on disc wedding albums, serious 'mix tapes' for someone special, just about anything you can put on a disc and add a double-side inlay to. We're using them for a special music collection, they look pretty good...
