Saxon builds skills
We've used Saxon for years now and are quite pleased with the materials. It builds math skills in small increments and while that may not be for everybody, it has worked very well for our boys.
The CDs aren't necessary if you have the home study kit, but sometimes they like to work independently. I like to encourage this, so they use the CD-ROM on those days.
