The Wizards at Line 6 got it right with Pod XT. The variety of amp and cabinet options combined with infinite echo and reverb selection lets me simulate the grandeur of a JCM 900 in a empty Gothic cathedral or the sharp attack of a Super Reverb in the Men's room at Penn Station. I can catalog pre-sets song by song for my gigs and only adjust 1 knob between songs (during the thunderous applause obviously ) for maximum effect.
