Missing parts
My daughter loves these books, but this print has entire chapters missing and misnumbered pages. That makes it impossible to get the whole story. So sad.

Finally-the book I have been looking for!
This book has everything I have been looking for in an adoption guide. I like that is fouses only on international adoption since that is what we are doing. It covers the main topics such as what questions to ask to find the right agency to use, what does a homestudy actually look like, etc. but also has some more personal information such as things to consider when determining if you are ready to be an interracial family, and a quiz to help you and your spouse if you are married determine what is important to you in selecting a country and program. The book has a very readable feel and is not too shallow or too technical. Of course specifics change year to year as far as the laws, timeframes, and what not but this book has a lot of information that is valuable at any time. It also has a lot of short personal stories with people giving their opinion or experience, which comes from many different viewpoints and helps you to see other sides of an issue that you may not have considered. Overall this is a great book and we are not feeling the need to buy any other adoption book untill we are looking for a country specific one. Happy adoption journeys!
