I play at a lot of different Senior residences, and this book is a go to book for them. The music is not only well written, but the selections seem to hit home every single time. I can tell the audiences stories about the music simply because it is all right in front of me. The book has paid for itself 100 times over. get it if you have a need, and see for yourself. Please know that the more contemporary audiences are seeking more contemporary music. DUH!!!
