Routines yes, Funniest,, uh.......
I bought this DVD because, well It is Abbott and Costello. The "Who's on First" is kinda short compared to the other versions which I have seen. Actually, all the routines which are on the DVD are kind of "weaker versions". Not that I am saying they are not good. But I have seen better versions of their work. It is a good collection as far as an intro, or over all recap of their famous routines, but some are very abbreviated, while others are just not the extended versions. It is Abbott and Costello, you can't go wrong there.

Could be Good or Bad
The Best of Red Skelton is a good collection of his various talents and the characters he created. If you are already a Red Skelton fan you will probably enjoy this collection. If you are trying to become a fan or just curious as to the comedy of Red, then you might not appreciate it as much. Red's comedy is a brand all of his own, which was good for the time. But, this current generation who is obsessed with sexual comedy it will probably not be appealing.
I purchased it because I remember watching it as a child and remembered only that I enjoyed it, but not much else. I enjoyed watching it, but prefer the classic comedy of Abbott and Costello, Martin and Lewis, and Three Stooges.

Waste of Money
The Cover states: "A Celebratory Documentary"; what it is, is about 15 movie trailers, with a few comments in between. And those comments are very deep, things like: "This film was made in 1950" and "This is John Ford's second film with Wayne." I was disappointed, cuz, it ain't no documentary, and they ain't no way it is celebrated. Really, the DVD cover is the best part.
