Wonderful resource.
My wife has not put this book down. She has been spinning yarn fine enough to make a shawl from one of the patterns.

Narex Gouges
Without exception, all of the Narex products I have acquired over the past few years have been wonderful in quality and ease of use,
I have fallen in love with these gouges. They carve out spoons and ladles with less effort than anything else I have owned.
The hornbeam handles are awesome in the hand and allow for delicate use as well as mallet carving.
I have moved all of my Narex chisels and gouges to my demo toolbox for when my SCA group does demos at schools or art fairs because they have that "ol:timey" look that folks enjoy seeing used.
It will take me time to save the money, but I intend to obtain a complete set of the Narex brand chisels because of their excellent quality and the hornbeam handles. Handing a student a good quality tool and watching them actually make something is one of the most satisfying things I do. And the confidence I have with Narex products is one of the things that allows this.
