Incredibly detailed book.
I'm flying through the book and loving the detail. Some of the things I never knew and some have just been forgotten over time.

Lionel 6-12062 Grade Crossing w/Gates and Flashers
The gate performs as expected. The arms do not raise all the way up. They stop at about a 45 deg angle, so not extremely realistic or enough to pass vehicles under, but still serve their purpose. I haven't found a better gate, so this one is acceptable if you want a gate.
