Not as good as it could be.
Not as good as previous, older versions of the Hugh Glass story. Lacks the true color and flavor of the time period. Ending is poor - just kind of fades away. Read "Lord Grizzly" by Frederick Manfred for a closer look at the character and time period.

Good book, good price, arrived quickly
We are reading this series of books in chronological order and we are pleased by how easy and affordable it is to use Ebay to get the earlier books of the series.

GOOD QUICK READ - CASTLE BOOKS ARE ALWAYS GOOD.
We have been following the Castle series for awhile now and enjoyed this, newest, book. The author is starting to follow a "formula", but, it is not too obtrusive - yet.
