Deep and comprehensive
I cannot but agree with many other satisfied reviewers that there is hardly a better guide on Waffen SS uniforms: perfect quality, detailed information and lots of unique pictures with precise descriptions (here you can learn, inter alia, the difference between different types of collar piping and trouser pockets). Sometimes, you can learn about the soldier featured on this or that picture: what was his name, if he survived the war etc. I think that the fact it was written by a meticulously studious enthusiast, not a history professor, gives this book special charm. As to its physical features, the book is large (approx. 9x12 inches), hard cover, colored and printed on good paper.
Highly recommended.
