Grerat sound, but should be easier to install & test.
The speaker enclosure has two mounting holes, but they don't quite align with the loco weight holes where this attaches. The instructions suggest using hot glue, which works OK. The manufacturer should have made more design effort so the enclosure could be fastened with the same screws at the same place where the weight is removed.
The boards tabs are narrower than the stock board. This forces the use of solder, which isn't a bad thing. I like to use the plastic clips as a temporary fastener to test the decoder operation prior to making it permanent.
Fortunately, everything worked properly after my permanent installation.
The sound is fantastic. I haven't utilized the on-board voice instructions yet.
The Keep-Alive feature allows this unit to have a power interruption for about 10 seconds without missing a beat.
This is a good value with all parts, except solder, being included.
